Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Weidman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abdul Haq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weidman comes into the arena with Alice in Chains blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weidman dives in and scores a takedown into Haq's guard.
Weidman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Weidman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Weidman trying to control the position from guard on top but Haq is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Weidman throwing strikes from guard but Haq blocks nicely.
Weidman with a flurry of punches that miss.
Weidman wants to control from the top but Haq keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Weidman postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Weidman seems to be working for a kimura but Haq defends the submission attempt.
Haq really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Weidman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Haq won't allow Weidman to pass to mount.
Haq is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Weidman scores with a couple of nice shots.
Weidman lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Weidman passes the guard and advances to mount!

Weidman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
