The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kennedy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Balagtas. Balagtas fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kennedy to the ground. Balagtas is now in Kennedy's guard. Balagtas slips nicely into half guard. Balagtas maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kennedy could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Balagtas has cracked it and Kennedy is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Balagtas!
