Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Vasilyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sergey Vasilyev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Johnny Bravo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergey Vasilyev! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo gets the takedown into side control. Vasilyev is trying to control Bravo's posture but Bravo avoids it. Bravo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Vasilyev gets back to half guard. Bravo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bravo wants to take a breather but Vasilyev is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasilyev is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Vasilyev is trying to maintain the position but Bravo is very close to passing his half guard. Vasilyev tries to roll over but Bravo keeps him under control. Vasilyev thows a left - swing and a miss! Vasilyev throws a shot from downtown. Bravo moves away and avoids it. Bravo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vasilyev looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Vasilyev's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bravo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Bravo working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vasilyev tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Vasilyev tries to hold on but Bravo pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bravo trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bravo has control of Vasilyev's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vasilyev regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Bravo avoids the attempt from Vasilyev to control. Bravo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vasilyev is looking to escape. Vasilyev is looking to get to half guard. Vasilyev tries to improve his position but Bravo has taken his back! Bravo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Vasilyev tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Bravo pushes Vasilyev away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Johnny Bravo! After winning the bout, Johnny Bravo thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
