Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Quin Kenobi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarek Mace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Quin Kenobi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jarek Mace! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, David Hoff and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenobi moves away from the strike by Mace. Kenobi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Mace sprawls and moves away. Mace swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kenobi counters with a shoot takedown. Mace fights it but they end up in guard. Kenobi trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mace's guard. Kenobi definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mace keeping moving, preventing Kenobi from controlling successfully. Kenobi scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kenobi trying to control the position from guard on top but Mace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mace has his foot on Kenobi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kenobi works his way back into a safe position though. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mace connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Kenobi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kenobi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mace misses with a combination
and Kenobi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kenobi content to stall in guard here. Mace wants to sweep here but Kenobi controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mace is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kenobi is aware though and is defending well. Kenobi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kenobi wants to control from the top but Mace keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenobi looking to pass the guard. Mace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kenobi is one step ahead there.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Mace throws the kick towards the body but Kenobi avoids it. Mace loads up on a big right hand but Kenobi slips the punch. Mace buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mace throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kenobi on the side of the head. Kenobi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mace connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Mace bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Kenobi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mace as he avoids it easily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Mace pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kenobi back to the cage. Mace follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mace lands a jab to the nose. Kenobi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kenobi there as he acknowledges the shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarek Mace dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mace cracks Kenobi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. A big left from Kenobi misses. Mace lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kenobi at a distance.
Kenobi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Mace scores with a nice body kick.

Kenobi dives in for a single leg takedown but Mace sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Mace throws a nice inside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kenobi blocks a leg kick. Jarek Mace seems to be getting the better of the standup. Mace fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kenobi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Mace scores with a shot to the body.

With the fighters up against the cage, Mace throws an elbow but misses. Mace has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Mace presses Kenobi against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Mace swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mace tries to break free but Kenobi pushes him back against the cage. Mace misses with a short punch on the inside. Mace lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Kenobi takes a shot to the head. Kenobi blocks an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Mace. Mace is trying to stall.
Mace throws a punch but it's blocked by Kenobi. Mace escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mace fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kenobi. Jarek Mace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenobi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Mace counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kenobi thinking. Mace is fending him off so far but Kenobi persists. Nope, Mace circles away and we're back to standing. A chopping leg kick lands by Mace. Mace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mace connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Mace's jab looks to have found its range, popping Kenobi under the eye. Mace lands a nice hook to Kenobi's body. Kenobi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kenobi avoids the head kick by Mace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Mace lands a jab. Quin Kenobi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mace lands a really nice looking cross but Kenobi seems unphased.
Kenobi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mace lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jarek Mace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mace fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Mace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kenobi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kenobi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kenobi is pushing down on Mace's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mace is fighting to maintain full guard but Kenobi has managed to sneak the leg through. Kenobi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Mace tries to roll over but Kenobi keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kenobi trying to control the action but Mace is working from the bottom. Kenobi in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mace tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Kenobi!
