Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ashton Fur Era (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wendell Martins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ashton Fur Era!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wendell Martins !
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fur Era tries to clinch up
and Martins counters with a shoot takedown. Fur Era fights it but they end up in guard.
Martins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fur Era looking for a sweep. Not yet Fur Era, not yet.
Martins content to stall in guard here.
Fur Era tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fur Era wants to stand and escape but Martins is having none of it.
Martins preventing the sweep.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Martins slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Fur Era will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Martins closes the distance and clinches.
Martins stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Fur Era connects with a nasty looking knee right to Martins 's face.
Fur Era wants to take the fight to the mat but Martins manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Martins tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Martins wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fur Era breaks the clinch.
Fur Era throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Martins counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Fur Era!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martins has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Fur Era has taken the fight to the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fur Era misses with a hook to the ribs.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Martins successfully pulls guard.
Martins trying to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martins has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Fur Era should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Martins has tightened it up now! Fur Era should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
