Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Twitchy Yosemite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunner Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Twitchy Yosemite! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Jonathan Paton and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yosemite slips under a jab from Harris. Harris uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Yosemite. Yosemite lands with an uppercut that bounces Harris off the cage and back into range. Harris drops Yosemite with a right and a left! Harris comes rushing in but Yosemite regains his composure and manages to keep Harris in guard.
It looks like Twitchy Yosemite has been cut. Yosemite is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Harris landing some decent shots from guard. Yosemite trying to control the position.
Yosemite really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Yosemite might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Harris haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. That's one minute gone in the round. Harris with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Harris controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Harris has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Harris's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Harris seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Yosemite for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Further stalling from Harris.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Harris takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Yosemite slaps away a takedown attempt from Harris, before circling back to the center of the mat. Yosemite throws a hook but Harris avoids it easily. Harris does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Harris looking to score a takedown here. Yosemite is defending well but Harris drives through and ends up in Yosemite's guard. Yosemite is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Yosemite looking to hit a scissor sweep but Harris is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris with a flurry of punches that miss. Harris slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Yosemite preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yosemite trying to control the position.
Harris content to stall in guard here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Yosemite tests Harris's chin there with a solid looking shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Yosemite dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Harris avoids a punch combination nicely.

Harris throws a combination that misses and Yosemite counters with a straight right hand. Harris connects with a body shot that sends Yosemite's belly button to the back. Yosemite ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Harris takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gunner Harris will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Twitchy Yosemite's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Harris closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yosemite quickly recovers to half guard. Harris lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Yosemite trying to control but Harris postures up.
Harris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Harris is nestled in close to Yosemite, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Yosemite wants to control but Harris is keeping busy and won't allow it. Harris is figuring out what he wants to do next. This is a sustained period of stalling by Harris. We've been hearing good reports from Harris's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gunner Harris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Harris not doing much here.
Harris is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris lands a big shot there that rocks Yosemite but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That has opened up Twitchy Yosemite's cut even more. Harris looking to control and managing it successfully. Harris punishing his opponent with strikes.
The cut above Twitchy Yosemite's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Twitchy Yosemite's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
