Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Peck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 52 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesse Hall! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hall throws a looping overhand right but Peck ducks down to avoid it. Hall tests Peck's chin there with a solid looking shot. Peck lands a nice looking body shot.
Peck slips under a jab. Peck misses the shot to the body. Peck misses with a body shot.
Peck slips a straight right by Hall. The fight stays on the outside here - Peck looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jesse Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peck swings and misses with a hook to the body.
It seemed like Hall was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Hall misses with an uppercut. Peck saw that one coming. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall throws a right and a left that Peck avoids nicely. Peck scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Hall manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Peck winds up and cracks Hall with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peck looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Peck trying to control from half guard but Hall is working away. Hall is trying to stand up here but Peck is controlling him well. Peck is looking to take a break and control but Hall is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Peck prevents Hall from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Peck is working away from the top position though. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Peck is stalling here. Hall is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Peck seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hall has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Hall tries to stand but Peck is controlling his head. Hall decides to stand back up. Hall steps back and let's Peck get back to his feet. Peck fails with the takedown and Hall cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice cross by Hall. Hall avoids the body shot from Peck.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hall misses with a straight right. Hall tries to bum rush Peck with a series of wild strikes but Peck uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Peck was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Hall throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. A jab from Hall misses. Peck lands with a nice combination. Hall backs away looking to recover. Hall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Hall jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Peck slips under a jab. Peck moves into the clinch. The referee is keeping an eye on Peck - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Hall tries to circle away but Peck has him pinned against the cage. Hall is trying to break the clinch but Peck has him pressed against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall wants to get back to striking at distance but Peck won't allow it.
Peck lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Peck stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Peck manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Peck looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hall puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Hall wants to stand but Peck has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Hall trying to control from half guard but Peck is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jesse Hall will probably get the nod. That's time! Peck's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Good exchange - Peck coming out on top. A looping hook to the body misses from Peck. Hall does a little dance to reset his feet. A swing and a miss from Hall. Peck walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jesse Hall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Hall keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hall looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hall misses with a hook. Some wild striking there from Hall.
A jab from Hall finds it's way through Peck's defenses.
It looks like Timothy Peck has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Peck. Hall thuds his right hand into Peck's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Peck scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Peck walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hall takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. A good leg kick by Hall. Peck gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Peck digs a good body shot into Hall's ribs. Peck has managed to clinch.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Hall makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Hall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hall is trying to break free. Hall is trying to force a seperation but Peck has the dominant position. Peck prevents Hall from breaking the clinch.

Hall pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Hall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Peck moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hall lands with a hook. Peck tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Peck misses the shot to the body. Hall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Peck. Peck fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it. Hall looks like he wants to counter punch here. Hall avoids the body shot from Peck.
Hall scores with a hook. Peck's corner calls for a 1-2. Peck obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Hall misses with a wild combination.
Peck throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Hall stalks Peck and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Peck's face. Peck staggers backwards, shaken.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hall throws a right and a left that both miss. Peck misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hall.

Peck lands a nice hook to Hall's body. Hall takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hall feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Peck's calf. Hall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Hall. Those never looked like landing. Jesse Hall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hall throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Peck counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hall thinking. Peck moves into the clinch. Peck keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hall's efforts to push away. Hall avoiding damage as Peck throws knees to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hall is trying to maintain a safe position but Peck gets an underhook and turns Hall into the cage. Hall looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hall breaks from the clinch.

Peck jabs Hall to the body, keeping him at a distance. Peck shoots in and gets a takedown into Hall's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Peck cracks Hall with a solid left hand. Peck trying to control but Hall is working from the bottom. Peck advances to half guard. Peck works his foot free and advances to mount. Peck looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jesse Hall will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Timothy Peck's cut. That's time! Peck's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Peck steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hall. Jesse Hall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Peck ducks under a wild hook from Hall. Hall uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Peck.
Hall scores with a crisp jab that stopped Peck in his tracks. Hall thows a left - swing and a miss! A punch combination from Hall misses. It looked like Peck wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Good exchange - Peck coming out on top. Hall misses with a hook. Peck drops down looking for a counter takedown but Hall sprawls and moves away. Hall throws a hook but Peck avoids it easily. Peck throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hall was covering up waiting for the punch and Peck finishes the takedown easily into guard. Peck lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hall is rocked! Peck avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peck drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hall looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hall looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hall! Peck is looking for a sweep. Timothy Peck overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hall working away. Hall is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Peck is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Peck sneaks back into half guard. Timothy Peck has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peck gets full guard. Hall has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Peck is proving hard to escape from. Hall decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Peck moves out of range of the strikes. Peck shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hall as he avoids it easily. Peck shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Peck was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Peck trying to control the position but Hall is working away. Hall tries to bench press Peck off him but Peck keeps the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Peck controlling the position. Peck trying to control the action but Hall is working from the bottom. Peck working away. Peck in side control, throwing shots but Hall defends. Hall managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Peck.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Peck prevents Hall from escaping the position. Peck wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hall, who protects the arm well. Peck scores with punches from side control. Peck working the ground and pound. Peck postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Peck trying to control the position but Hall is working away. Peck is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hall knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
And that's the end of the fight! Timothy Peck showed his dominance in that final round. I think Hall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
