Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Lamb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Robson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Josh Lamb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bobby Robson!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamb throws a poor cross that misses
and Robson counters with a series of strikes. Lamb will be more careful next time no doubt.
Robson lands a right hook to the body.
Lamb stuffs the takedown attempt from Robson. Robson gets slowly back to his feet.
Robson tries to clinch there but Lamb circles away.
Robson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Robson wants to clinch.
Robson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lamb sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Robson somewhat.
As Robson tries to get set, Lamb tries to push him back and clinch up but Robson manages to avoid the attempt.
Robson lands a nice looking kick to the body. Lamb takes a step back to recover.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Robson enables Lamb to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Lamb slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Robson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Lamb is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Lamb postures up in Robson's guard and throws a big left but Robson blocks it.
Lamb landing with the ground and pound.
Lamb slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Robson is trying to keep Lamb in close.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Lamb in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Some wild striking there from Lamb.
Robson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Robson fails with a takedown attempt.
Josh Lamb has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Robson.
Robson looks for a takedown but Lamb sprawls well.
Robson blocks a head kick by Lamb.
Robson throws a counter combo.
Lamb swings for the body but Robson moves out of range.

Robson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lamb seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Robson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lamb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lamb trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lamb slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Lamb pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Robson fails with the takedown.
We've been informed that Robson has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Lamb throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Robson avoids the head kick by Lamb.
A big left from Lamb misses.
Lamb lands a jab to the nose.
Robson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lamb swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lamb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Robson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Lamb holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Robson looks winded!

Lamb has hold of one of Robson's legs. Robson is fighting the takedown attempt but Lamb gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Lamb pushes down on Robson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Lamb seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Josh Lamb dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Robson swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Lamb.
Lamb is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Robson can do to turn this around?
Lamb throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lamb looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Lamb with a flurry of punches that miss.
Robson is trying to keep Lamb in close.
Lamb is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lamb passes into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lamb is looking to advance position but Robson won't allow it.
Lamb looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Robson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Lamb works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lamb postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Robson looks a forlorn figure.
Lamb tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lamb pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Lamb cracks Robson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Lamb content just to control the position here.
Lamb lands a nice shot to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lamb is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Robson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lamb lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Robson hang on?
Robson is breathing heavily.
Robson takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


Robson is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lamb looking to isolate an arm here. Robson doesn't see it coming and as Lamb extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Lamb!
