Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ramsey Psycho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yo Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Psycho scores with a jab to the body.
Mama will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Psycho looks to land a combination. Mama sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Yo Mama has been cut.
Psycho misses with a double jab

so Mama counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mama passes into half guard.
Mama looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Psycho with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mama in particular looking to stall.

It looks like Mama might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Mama is nestled in close to Psycho, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Still in half guard, Mama seems content to control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Psycho wants to improve his position but Mama is controlling well.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Some bone on bone action there as Psycho checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Psycho will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A left and a right from Psycho both land. Nice combination.
Mama with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Psycho to score with a decent uppercut.

Psycho lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Psycho tries to land a front kick but Mama steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Psycho lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mama is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Psycho's shoulder. That is not cool.
Psycho takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Mama cracks Psycho with a big elbow.
Mama controls the position.
Mama's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Psycho is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Mama should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

That was a close round but I would say that Ramsey Psycho will probably get the nod.

Psycho rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mama moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Mama content to control rather than advance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Let's hope that Mama has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The adventures of Mama the control monster continue. Boring.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Psycho pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Psycho connects with a leg kick. Mama looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Mama changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Psycho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Mama looks up at the clock and then as Psycho takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mama smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Psycho tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Mama throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Psycho was covering up waiting for the punch and Mama finishes the takedown easily into guard.
