The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Earp takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Earp throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wiese stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A telegraphed right hand from Earp misses the target.
Wiese moves out of range of the strikes.
Earp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wiese.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wiese or perhaps it was just good defense by Earp, which made it look bad.
A looping hook to the body misses from Earp. Wiese does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wiese looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Earp is fending him off so far but Wiese persists. Nope, Earp circles away and we're back to standing.

Wiese shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Earp as he avoids it easily.

Earp stuns Wiese with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Earp throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wyatt Earp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

We've been informed that Earp has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Wiese tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Wiese throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Earp's waist but Earp gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wiese off to one side.

Wiese dives in and grabs Earp's left leg, looking for a takedown. Earp pushes down on Wiese's head and hops out.
