The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bel thows a left - swing and a miss!
Donk. Bel catches Silva right on the button with a cross.
Bel throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Kev Bel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Silva counters with a left and a right that stings Bel.
Bel looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Silva throws a big counter combination but Bel scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Bel misses with a combination
and Silva counters with a crisp one two that drops Bel! Silva thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Bel to his feet! Bel is in big trouble!
Bel is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Silva lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Bel misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Bel lands a glancing blow to the side of Silva's head.
Bel scores with a jab to the head.
Silva lands with a thumping leg kick.
Bel throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Silva feints a jab and as Bel dips his head, Silva unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Bel right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Bel falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Silva smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hacran Silva!
