The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A lazy body kick from Valderena
and Temel counters with a nice double leg into side control. Valderena won't be happy with that.
Valderena is looking for a sweep.
Temel throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Valderena manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

It looks like Ramazan Temel has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Valderena in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Valderena throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Temel's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Valderena connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Temel scrambles back to his feet.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Temel checks a leg kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A left lands for Valderena.
Temel tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Valderena was well out of range. Poor timing from Temel.
Valderena misses with an uppercut.
Valderena's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Valderena's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Hugo Valderena comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Valderena has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
