The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haber scores with a decent looking hook.
Haber has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Laine finds it's way round the side to connect with Haber's head.
Laine lands with a nice body kick.
Haber lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Laine ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Haber connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Laine thumps Haber with a low kick.
Laine takes a swing at Haber's ribcage but misses.
Haber looks to throw the jab but Laine is out of range.

Haber tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Haber lands with a straight right. Laine didn't see that one coming.
Haber jabs Laine right on the nose. Laine blinks but takes it well.

Laine connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Haber momentarily.

Haber bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Haber takes a little break here. Laine wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Haber throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Laine is holding on to half guard well.
Haber is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Haber drops back, looking for a kneebar! Laine looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Laine looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Laine!

A close round but Uri Haber will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Laine loads up on a big right hand but Haber slips the punch.

Laine fails with an attempt to clinch.

Laine is looking to slow Haber down with leg kicks.
Haber uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Laine.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Laine misses with a low kick.
Haber throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Laine stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Haber counters with a takedown into side control.

Haber looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Laine knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haber on the ground.

Haber has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Haber goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Laine rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Haber's guard! Nice work there by Laine!
Haber wants to sweep here but Laine controlling him for the moment.

Uri Haber showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Haber throws a hook to the side of Laine's head but Laine sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Musta Laine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Haber counters with a nice double leg into side control. Laine won't be happy with that.
Haber misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Haber goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Laine has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Haber but great work by Laine.

Haber has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Laine should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Haber has tightened it up now! Laine should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
