Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Quin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddy Hwang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quin comes to the cage accompanied by Captain Jack - Iko Iko. Eddy Hwang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Quin. Hwang does a little dance to reset his feet.
Quin sizes up Hwang with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hwang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hwang throws a head kick but Quin moves out of range.
Eddy Hwang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Quin shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Quin connects with a nice short shot to Hwang's temple.

Quin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hwang with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
