Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Hekkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian McCarthy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hekkanen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Its Time !. On his way into the cage it seems that Tony Hekkanen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tony Hekkanen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hekkanen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

McCarthy shoots in for a double leg but Hekkanen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

McCarthy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCarthy tries for a kimura but Hekkanen is defending well.
Hekkanen wants to get back to his feet but McCarthy drags him back down.

Hekkanen pushes McCarthy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McCarthy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

McCarthy is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hekkanen has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hekkanen is not content to let McCarthy control the position.

Hekkanen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McCarthy on the ground.

McCarthy has an Americana. Hekkanen didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McCarthy is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McCarthy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
