Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peyton Hillis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsumi Nasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Shura no Hana. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nasu throws the left hand but Hillis avoids the punch easily.
Nasu lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nasu misses with a hook.
We've been told by Hillis's head coaches at Montreal Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Nasu throws a leg kick but Hillis sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Hillis moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hillis checks a leg kick.

Hillis bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nasu's head backwards.
Hillis misses with the combination.
Nasu throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hillis takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Donk. Nasu catches Hillis right on the button with a cross.
Hillis is rocked!
It looks like Peyton Hillis has been cut.
Nasu throws a lazy uppercut
and Hillis counters with a nice uppercut.
Hillis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nasu throws out the jab.
Hillis swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hillis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nasu.
Nasu throws a poor cross that misses
and Hillis counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hillis is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Hillis throws a one two combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nasu swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hillis counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nasu misses with an uppercut
enabling Hillis to counter with a crisp jab.
Hillis tries to bum rush Nasu with a series of wild strikes but Nasu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hillis lands a left and a right that send Nasu crashing to the mat, dazed. Hillis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Nasu is rocked!
Hillis cracks Nasu with a hook to the temple - Nasu is on wobbly legs here! Hillis swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Nasu falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Hillis wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Peyton Hillis!
