Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jessy De Boer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aaron Sesay! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Boer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sesay looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! De Boer has taken the fight to the clinch.
De Boer works on Sesay's body with a couple of short punches. De Boer lands a nice knee to the body. De Boer lands a knee to the body.
De Boer gets control of Sesay's arms and successfully pulls guard. De Boer will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. De Boer tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sesay decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Boer clinches up against the cage. De Boer wants to take the fight to the mat but Sesay manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. De Boer lands an elbow that stopped Sesay in his tracks for a moment.
It looks like Aaron Sesay has been cut. De Boer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! De Boer has taken the fight to the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Boer pulls Sesay in close to prevent any damage. Sesay got a little sloppy there for a moment and De Boer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sesay has managed to get both his arms back between De Boer's legs - danger averted. De Boer wants to stand but Sesay is controlling the position. De Boer tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sesay wants to control from the top but De Boer keeps moving. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. De Boer is looking to stand up but Sesay isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. De Boer clinches with his opponent.
