Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iain Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Carter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Iain Donovan! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Donovan shoots in for a takedown but Carter shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Donovan looks for a takedown but Carter sprawls well. Donovan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carter's waist but Carter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Donovan off to one side. Jake Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iain Donovan. Carter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Carter gets underhooks to prevent Donovan's takedown attempt.
Donovan tries to pull guard but Carter forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Donovan tries to pull guard but Carter won't allow it.
Donovan tries for a takedown. No joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Donovan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Carter prevents it.
Donovan wants to take the fight to the mat but Carter manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Carter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carter gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Carter looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Carter is breathing heavily. Donovan works his way to full guard. Good work. Donovan is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Carter rolls with it to try and escape but Donovan cranks on the arm and Carter is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
