Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Genghis Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oberyn Martell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Khan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Nirvana - The Man Who Sold the World. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martell digs a good body shot into Khan's ribs.
Martell looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.
Khan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Khan staying out of range there.
Khan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A telegraphed right hand from Martell misses the target.
Khan throws a big counter combination but Martell scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

It looked like Khan was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Martell throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Khan blocks it with crossed arms.
Martell's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Khan throws a looping overhand right but Martell ducks down to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Martell! But no joy.
Martell is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Khan rather than just go for the knockout.

Khan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Martells jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Khan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Khan has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Oberyn Martell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Martell is trying to break the clinch but Khan has him pressed against the cage.
Khan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Martell is trying to keep an underhook but Khan manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Khan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Martell has picked Khan up and slammed him! Khan can't keep hold of the triangle and Martell manages to pass to side control!

Martell wants to control the pace but Khan is squirming around nicely.

Khan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Martell is aware though and is defending well.
Khan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Martell defends well.

Genghis Khan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Khan is looking for a triangle but Martell pushes his legs off easily.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Khan is looking for a sweep. Martell is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Martell connects with a nice short shot to Khan's temple.
Khan won't allow Martell to pass to mount.
Khan tries to get to full guard but Martell has control of the leg.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Khan is trying to maintain the position but Martell is very close to passing his half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Martell seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Khan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Oberyn Martell.
I've got Martell winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
