The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sprinkles throws a series of strikes that have Zero backpedaling.
It looks like Sub Zero has been cut.

and Zero takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Zero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sprinkles goes for a double leg but Zero avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zero continues to drive forward.
Sprinkles fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Sprinkles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Sprinkles throws a chopping leg kick but Zero manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Zero pushes Sprinkles away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sprinkles gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sprinkles looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sprinkles throws a strike but Zero avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Zero swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sprinkles, as that shot connected.
