The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Wiatrzyk looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nickles went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Nickles throws a nice looking combination but Wiatrzyk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Nickles digs a good body shot into Wiatrzyk's ribs.

Wiatrzyk lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wiatrzyk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nickles paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nickles is trying to work for a kimura but Wiatrzyk is defending well.
Wiatrzyk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nickles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
