Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aldo Ribiero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies has chosen Condemned 84 - Face the agression as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aldo Ribiero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pit Mies!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies darts in and clinches Ribiero up against the cage.
Mies escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ribiero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mies tries to bum rush Ribiero with a series of wild strikes but Ribiero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Mies throws a series of punches but Ribiero moves out of range.
Ribiero darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Mies wants to improve his position but Ribiero is controlling well.
Ribiero trying to control from half guard but Mies is working away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mies is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ribiero is just riding it out for now. Mies eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mies is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Ribiero is looking to stand up but Mies isn't so interested in that idea.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ribiero throws a strike aimed at the side of Mies's head but Mies avoids it well.
Mies is trying to control Ribiero's posture but Ribiero avoids it.
Ribiero thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Mies is looking for a sweep.

Ribiero in side control, throwing shots but Mies defends.
Mies gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Ribiero is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mies punching from the bottom.
Mies has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Ribiero is on him like a limpet, forcing Mies back against the cage.
Ribiero tries to break free but Mies pushes him back against the cage.
Mies has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ribiero uses from the top position.

Aldo Ribiero overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Ribiero wants to control from the top but Mies keeps moving.

Pit Mies showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Ribiero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mies circles away.
Mies lands a nice looking body shot.
Ribiero wants to clinch.
Ribiero feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Mies has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ribiero should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Mies has tightened it up now! Ribiero should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
