Burgemeister kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lil Scrappy - Head Bussa. And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Chaos!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Chaos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burgemeister misses with a jab, cross combination.
Chaos is looking to clinch but Burgemeister is avoiding it.

Burgemeister instigates a clinch.
Burgemeister wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Chaos crunches a lovely knee into Burgemeister's ribcage.
Burgemeister lands a right hand that snaps the head of Chaos backwards.
Chaos with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Chaos tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Chaos wants to break the clinch but can't.
Burgemeister lands a left hand.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Burgemeister as Chaos tries to tie him up.
Burgemeister lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Chaos.
Burgemeister is trying to break the clinch but Chaos has him pressed against the cage.
Chaos missing with knees to the body.
Chaos prevents Burgemeister from breaking the clinch.
Burgemeister stalling.
Chaos creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Burgemeister scores with a nice hook to the head.
Burgemeister lands with a right to the head.
Burgemeister lands a body shot.

Burgemeister breaks from the clinch.
Chaos tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Burgemeister counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Burgemeister instigates a clinch.

Burgemeister manages to break the clinch.
Burgemeister pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Burgemeister misses with a wild combination.
Burgemeister tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Chaos paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Burgemeister throws a body punch but Chaos moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Chaos.
Daniel Burgemeister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chaos tries to clinch up.
Oooh a lovely combination from Burgemeister sends Chaos down but not out. Burgemeister dives into side control looking to finish.


Chaos is rocked!
Chaos tries to bench press Burgemeister off him but Burgemeister keeps the position.
Chaos is still in real trouble! Can Burgemeister finish him?
Chaos wants to control but Burgemeister postures up.
Chaos seems to have recovered his senses.
Chaos gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Burgemeister throwing shots but Chaos is blocking nicely.
Burgemeister wants to stand up but Chaos is controlling the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chaos is looking to improve his position.
Chaos works his way to full guard. Good work.
Chaos throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Burgemeister stopping the sweep attempt from Chaos.
Burgemeister has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Chaos has his foot on Burgemeister's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Burgemeister works his way back into a safe position though.
Chaos looks gassed!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Burgemeister avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Burgemeister does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Burgemeister paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Burgemeister closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Chaos out cold! Chaos corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Daniel Burgemeister!
