Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robbie Biggie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Robbie Biggie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jan Kowalski! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Kowalski. No joy for Biggie on that attempt. Kowalski is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Kowalski gets a clinch. Biggie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Kowalski defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Biggie. Kowalski tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Biggie shoots in looking for a takedown but Kowalski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Biggie's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kowalski tries to counter with a clinch but Biggie shakes him off and moves away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robbie Biggie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Biggie tries a head kick but it misses.
Kowalski throws a counter combo. Kowalski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kowalski shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Biggie as he avoids it easily. Kowalski stuffs the takedown attempt from Biggie. Biggie gets slowly back to his feet. Kowalski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Biggie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kowalski avoids it really well and circles away. Kowalski is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Kowalski rushes Biggie and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Biggie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Biggie prevents a body shot from Kowalski. Biggie wants a takedown.
Kowalski pulls guard. Kowalski looking to hit a scissor sweep but Biggie is one step ahead there. Biggie avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kowalski throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Biggie trying to control the position from guard on top but Kowalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kowalski looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kowalski tries to strike from the bottom.
Kowalski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Horrible takedown attempt by Kowalski or perhaps it was just good defense by Biggie, which made it look bad. Kowalski gets a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Biggie tries for a takedown but Kowalski manages to get underhooks.
Biggie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kowalski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kowalski digs a good hook to Biggie's body.
Nice takedown defense from Biggie. No joy for Kowalski on that attempt. Biggie throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Kowalski gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kowalski looking for a takedown. Knees to the body from Kowalski.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Biggie gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kowalski.
Kowalski keeps control of Biggie as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Biggie prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kowalski looks winded! Kowalski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kowalski dives in and grabs Biggie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Biggie pushes down on Kowalski's head and hops out. Kowalski shoots in for a takedown but Biggie shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Biggie wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Biggie gets off balance looking for a body kick and Kowalski counters with a left and a right that stings Biggie. Excellent takedown into side control there by Biggie. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Biggie just content to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jan Kowalski dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Biggie moves into the clinch. Biggie tries to pull guard but Kowalski won't allow it.
Kowalski keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Biggie's efforts to push away. Biggie is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kowalski pulls him back up using the underhooks. Kowalski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kowalski moves into the clinch successfully.
Kowalski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kowalski swinging wildly here.
Biggie gets a double leg takedown into Kowalski's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Biggie trying to control the position from guard on top but Kowalski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kowalski is controlling Biggie's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kowalski keeping moving, preventing Biggie from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Biggie slips nicely into half guard. Biggie looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Biggie is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kowalski is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Robbie Biggie!
