Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Titan Rain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akiro Sata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rain's entrance music is Die for Metal. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Sata's choice of entrance music: Onward to Victory!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Titan Rain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of New York, Akiro Sata!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rain lands a lovely overhand right.
Rain misses with an uppercut. Sata saw that one coming.
Sata tries to close the distance and clinch but Rain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rain gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Rain uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sata.
Rain avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sata throws a body punch but Rain moves out of range.
Rain uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sata.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sata. Rain does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sloppy strikes from Sata. Those never looked like landing.
Sata throws a one two combo.
Sata on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Sata.

Rain seems a little lost for a moment, as Sata dominates the positioning.

Rain moves in looking to clinch but Sata pushes him off.

Sata cracks Rain with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Rain lands a leg kick that knocks Sata off balance momentarily.

Rain feints and then cracks Sata's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sata down.

Sata clinches up with Rain and pushes him back against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sata drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rain gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Sata throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Rain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sata doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Rain is tightening it up a little... Sata has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sata reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sata taps out! Nice BJJ there by Rain!
