I think Krieger might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ramstein - Feuer Frei. Stefan Krieger has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Watooshi Takasaszi!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takasaszi scores with the left hand. Krieger knows he should have avoided that one.
Krieger keeps the fight on the outside.
Krieger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Takasaszi.
Krieger bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Krieger.
Takasaszi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Krieger asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Krieger decides to stand back up. Krieger steps back and let's Takasaszi get back to his feet.
Krieger steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Takasaszi.
Takasaszi throws a looping overhand right but Krieger ducks down to avoid it.

Takasaszi tries to keep at a distance but Krieger has taken the fight into the clinch.
Takasaszi is trying to break the clinch but Krieger has him pressed against the cage.

Takasaszi is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Krieger drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Takasaszi gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Takasaszi tries to work over Krieger's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Krieger successfully pulls guard.
Krieger lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Takasaszi!
You get the feeling that Takasaszi really doesn't like being in this position too much.

It looks like Watooshi Takasaszi has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takasaszi is squirming around, avoiding Krieger's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Takasaszi is trying to stand.
The referee warns Takasaszi that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That has opened up Watooshi Takasaszi's cut even more.

Krieger working for a submission but Takasaszi is keeping him at bay.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Takasaszi can do anything to dispel that myth.
Krieger loads up with a big shot that hurts Takasaszi! He's pulled Krieger in close but Krieger has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Takasaszi survive? More strikes from Krieger and Takasaszi is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
