Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacoby Kingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Armen Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hammer is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bawitdaba - Kid Rock. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer slaps away a takedown attempt from Kingston, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hammer shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kingston is trying to defend but Hammer finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hammer is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kingston has managed to free his arm - good work.

Hammer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Hammer is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kingston doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hammer.

Hammer is pressing down on Kingston's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kingston is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kingston has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hammer is working away from the top position though.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Kingston tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hammer defends well and Kingston ends up having to push Hammer into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Kingston shoots for a takedown but Hammer saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Kingston is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hammer sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Hammer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kingston to the mat! Kingston manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kingston working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

He's locked it up tight! Hammer's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Kingston picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
