Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nobero Shimasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Paul Fish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nobero Shimasaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Paul Fish! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Shimasaki wants to clinch. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Shimasaki checks a leg kick. Fish has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Fish uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shimasaki. Shimasaki throws a head kick but Fish moves out of range.
Fish does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Shimasaki misses with a leg kick. Fish with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Shimasaki to score with a decent uppercut. Shimasaki looks for the body kick but Fish saw that one coming. Shimasaki swings away with a leg kick that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shimasaki tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fish counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Good work by Fish as he checks the leg kick. Shimasaki shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Nice jab there from Shimasaki. Shimasaki blocks a head kick by Fish.
We've been told by Shimasaki's head coaches at 11th Planet MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Fish throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shimasaki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fish connects with a nice looking jab.
Shimasaki tries to land a front kick but Fish steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Shimasaki misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Shimasaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Fish throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Fish connects with a right hand. Shimasaki shakes it off. Shimasaki has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fish.

Fish tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shimasaki was well out of range. Poor timing from Fish. Fish lands a jab to Shimasaki's midsection. Fish does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Shimasaki looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fish circles away from the clinch attempt and Fish counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Fish cracks Shimasaki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Fish lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Shimasaki moves to clinch but Fish breaks away and Fish counters with a thumping low kick. Shimasaki takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Shimasaki misses with a kick to the body and Fish counters with a lovely straight right hand! Fish throws a body kick that misses. Shimasaki takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Jon Paul Fish showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Fish throws a low kick, looking for Shimasaki's leg but Shimasaki calmly moves out of range. Shimasaki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
