Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Armos Saffedine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jozef Rakic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Armos Saffedine! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jozef Rakic! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rakic - that will leave a mark!
Saffedine throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Rakic scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Armos Saffedine has been cut. Rakic lands with a thumping leg kick.
Saffedine takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Rakic throws a head kick that half lands.

Saffedine changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Saffedine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rakic stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rakic lands with a thumping leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rakic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rakic throws a series of punches but Saffedine avoids them all with ease. Rakic fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Saffedine. That's two minutes gone in the round. Rakic wants to stand but Saffedine is controlling the position. Saffedine is looking to work some ground and pound but Rakic has wrist control. Rakic is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Saffedine is controlling him. Saffedine wants to pass the guard but Rakic is keeping the position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saffedine wants to control from the top but Rakic keeps moving. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. We've been hearing good reports from Saffedine's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Saffedine is looking to pass into half guard but Rakic pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Rakic is in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saffedine is looking for a triangle here but Rakic uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Rakic tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Rakic decides to take the fight back to the feet. Saffedine throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Rakic is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. A jab from Rakic finds it's way through Saffedine's defenses.
Armos Saffedine's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Rakic throws a head kick but Saffedine moves out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rakic scores with a kick to the midsection. Saffedine gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rakic. Saffedine takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Jeez, Armos Saffedine's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
