Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palmer comes to the cage accompanied by Sans Pression - Numero 1. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Palmer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Owen! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Owen tries to close the distance and clinch but Palmer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Owen is looking to clinch. Owen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Palmer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Palmer tries to counter with a takedown but Owen is quick to defend against it. Palmer keeps the fight on the outside. Palmer swats away the attempt to clinch by Owen. Owen tries to clinch up but Palmer circles away and keeps his distance. Owen lands a head kick. Palmer smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Owen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Palmer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Palmer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Palmer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palmer circles away from the clinch attempt and Palmer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Owen is staying active underneath Palmer, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Palmer maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Owen could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Palmer has cracked it and Owen is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Palmer!

As George Palmer got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Thanks James for the fight, you're a great striker! Also I am feeling extremely comfortable in 155, can't wait to accept another challenge!'.
