The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilal misses the jab.
Bilal throws an overhand right that lands on Sanders's shoulder, as Sanders tries to avoid the shot.
Bilal pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Sanders back to the cage. Bilal follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Sanders moves away from the strike by Bilal.
Sanders tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bilal manages to circle out of the way.
Sanders slips a jab and a cross from Bilal.
Bilal scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Ray Sanders has been cut.
Bilal misses with a few strikes there.
Bilal throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sanders decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bilal's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sanders is standing up over Bilal. Bilal looks to escape but Sanders dives into side control.
Sanders misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Sanders working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Sanders tries for a kimura but Bilal is defending well.
Bilal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanders. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bilal tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Sanders is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bilal has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sanders has isolated one of Bilal's arms. Bilal looking to fight him off but Sanders twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
