Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vince Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Green tries to clinch
and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looked like Silva was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Green shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Silva but Silva pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva throws a big counter combination but Green scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Green tries to counter by closing the distance.
Green is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.

and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wanderlei Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vince Green.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Green. Green gets slowly back to his feet.

Green walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Silva takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Silva lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Green changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Silva tries to avoid it but Green manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Silva to the ground. Silva escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Green tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Green misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Green ducks right into an uppercut from Silva.
Silva throws a combination. Green tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Vince Green has been cut.
Green tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Silva swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Silva lands with a kick to the temple. Green shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Silva throws a series of strikes that have Green backpedaling.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silva scores with a one two! Green had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Green is rocked!

and Silva counters with a deadly accurate combination that rocks Green badly! He tries to strike back but Silva puts an end to that with another precision combo that knocks Green out cold! Oh man, Green will never hear the end of this one!
