Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Sock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wyatt Earp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Sock has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jack Sock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Wyatt Earp! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sock defending well as Earp loads up on a big left hand. Earp fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sock walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Earp swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Earp cracks Sock with a good jab. Sock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Earp as he avoids it easily. Sock staying out of range there. Sock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Sock shoots in but Earp avoids the takedown attempt easily. A little jabbing left from Earp on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Earp throws a shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Earp cracks a nice hook into Sock's ribs. Earp clobbers Sock with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Earp missing with a left hand there. Sock was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sock looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Sock not landing any meaningful shots this time. Earp keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sock is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Earp doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sock. Earp looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Sock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sock is thwarting Earp's attempts to control the position. Earp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Earp keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sock is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Sock scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Sock is looking for a kimura but Earp is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sock to get the leverage. Sock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Sock is thwarting Earp's attempts to control the position. Sock lands with a punch from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sock is trying to control the action in half guard but Earp is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Earp tries to get to full guard but Sock has control of the leg. Sock is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Sock sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Earp defending well though. Sock uses his free foot to push down on Earp's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Earp. Sock lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sock has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Earp's face.
Sock avoids the attempt from Earp to control. Sock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Sock working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Earp turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Sock off and cradles Earp's limp body as Sock celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jack Sock!
