Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leningrada fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gonzalez manages to avoid it.
Blokada Leningrada seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Leningrada.
Leningrada moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Gonzalez tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Leningrada wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leningrada is trying to work for a kimura but Gonzalez is defending well.
Leningrada passes into side control, despite Gonzalez's attempt to control the position.

Gonzalez tries to buck Leningrada off but Leningrada is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leningrada trying to control the position but Gonzalez is working away.
Gonzalez is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Leningrada is controlling him well.
Gonzalez gets back to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leningrada wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gonzalez keeps working.
Gonzalez is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Main Event Gym , so we'll see if he gets out of it.
Leningrada stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Gonzalez fails to land with a series of punches.
Gonzalez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Gonzalez wants to control from the top but Leningrada keeps moving.
Leningrada has his feet on Gonzalez's thighs here. He's pushed Gonzalez off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Gonzalez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Blokada Leningrada was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
