Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adam Mello (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Judah Seraphim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adam Mello! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Judah Seraphim! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mello tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Seraphim swivels and escapes. Mello with a poor takedown and Seraphim counters with a right hand to the body. Mello closes the distance and clinches. Seraphim's coach down at Foot Loves was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seraphim's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Seraphim tries to circle away but Mello has him pinned against the cage. Mello wants to stall.
Mello is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Seraphim is keeping busy. A nice right hand lands inside from Seraphim. Mello throws an elbow but it misses.
Seraphim pushes Mello back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Seraphim avoids the elbow strike from Mello, against the cage.
Seraphim goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Mello creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mello tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Mello. That's going to take a lot out of him. Seraphim can't find room to land a body shot as Mello controls the action.
Mello successfully pulls guard.
Seraphim wants to get up but he can't break Mello's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Seraphim must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mello scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Mello has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Seraphim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Seraphim wants to get up but he can't break Mello's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mello is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Seraphim is aware though and is defending well. Seraphim would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Mello has his foot on Seraphim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seraphim works his way back into a safe position though. Mello has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Seraphim can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Mello is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Seraphim is looking to stand up but Mello won't let him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mello has his foot on Seraphim's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Seraphim works his way back into a safe position though. Mello looking for a sweep. Not yet Mello, not yet. Seraphim has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mello is proving hard to escape from. Mello is working an open guard so Seraphim takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mello has his takedown stuffed and Seraphim counters with a two punch combo. Mello getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Mello shoots and misses and Seraphim connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Mello is breathing heavily. Seraphim drops Mello with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Mello! Seraphim dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Judah Seraphim!
