Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kev Bel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nito Agua! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Agua scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Bel is trying to stand.

Bel on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Agua stops Bel from getting back to his feet.
Agua missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Agua is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Agua missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bel is trying to stand.
Agua not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Agua missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Agua working over Bel with some ground and pound. Bel looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bel knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Agua in particular looking to stall. Ground and pound from Agua. Agua slips a nice elbow through Bel's hands, connecting with Bel's forehead. Agua takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Agua working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Agua works his foot free and advances to mount. Bel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bel takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bel is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Agua landing strikes from the mount and Bel is in trouble! Agua with a couple of short strikes. Agua punishing his opponent with strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! You get the feeling that Bel really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Agua lands with some strikes. Agua trying to control but Bel is having none of it. Agua postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bel looks a forlorn figure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Agua controlling the pace for now. Agua pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Agua can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bel is looking to escape. Agua connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Agua cracks Bel with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Bel is rocked! Agua scoring with strikes but Bel is staying in there. Oh Bel is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Bel on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bel tries to get out of the position. Bel wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Agua landing strikes from the mount and Bel is in trouble! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Agua breaks from Bel's wrist control and lands an elbow. Bel taking shots to the head. Agua with a couple of short strikes. Bel taking shots to the head. Agua putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Agua landing shots from mount. You get the feeling that Bel really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Agua cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Agua has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Agua cracks Bel with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Agua postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bel badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Agua around the waist but Agua pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Agua is the winner by TKO! Agua jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
