The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ako slaps away a takedown attempt from XL, before circling back to the center of the mat.
XL fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ako connects with a solid leg kick.

Ako gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ako changes levels and goes for a takedown here. XL fights it off and pushes away nicely.

XL gets a takedown into half guard.

XL looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Ako wants to get back to his feet.
