And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mace listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Mace goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Mace explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Kenobi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Mace connects with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mace misses with a looping right.
Mace lands a body shot.
Mace lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mace.

Mace stuns Kenobi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Mace changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Mace looks to throw the jab but Kenobi is out of range.

Donk. Mace catches Kenobi right on the button with a cross.
A decent looking cross lands there for Mace.
Mace ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kenobi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mace is looking to reverse the position.
Mace is not content to let Kenobi control the position.
Kenobi is really struggling to control Mace but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kenobi happy to just control the position for now.
Mace prevents Kenobi from improving position.
Kenobi trying to control the position but Mace is working away.
Kenobi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Mace really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kenobi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mace is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kenobi's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Kenobi! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Mace has tapped! This one is allllll over!
