Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adolf Schwarzkopf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergey Vasilyev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Adolf Schwarzkopf has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Adolf Schwarzkopf seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Adolf Schwarzkopf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sergey Vasilyev! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vasilyev walks forward, straight into a front kick from Schwarzkopf. Schwarzkopf turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Vasilyev is trying hard to land a takedown here. Schwarzkopf sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Vasilyev throws a hook to the side of Schwarzkopf's head but Schwarzkopf sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Schwarzkopf fires out a quick counter leg kick but Vasilyev just manages to avoid it. Vasilyev tries for a takedown but Schwarzkopf sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Schwarzkopf goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Vasilyev tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Schwarzkopf leaves Vasilyev with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Adolf Schwarzkopf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergey Vasilyev. Schwarzkopf lands with a kick to the temple. Vasilyev shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Vasilyev shoots in but no luck this time. Vasilyev looks for a takedown but Schwarzkopf sprawls well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schwarzkopf stuffs the takedown attempt from Vasilyev. Vasilyev gets slowly back to his feet. Vasilyev fails to land the takedown. Schwarzkopf steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Vasilyev.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schwarzkopf slips under a jab from Vasilyev. Vasilyev tries for a takedown but Schwarzkopf sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Schwarzkopf throws a head kick that misses. That kick from Schwarzkopf tenderised Vasilyev's leg. Vasilyev is trying to keep his angry face on. Sergey Vasilyev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwarzkopf throws a leg kick but Vasilyev moved away. Schwarzkopf displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vasilyev throws out the jab. Vasilyev misses with an uppercut. Schwarzkopf saw that one coming. A swing and a miss from Vasilyev. Vasilyev closes the distance and clinches up with Schwarzkopf, looking for a takedown. Vasilyev pushes Schwarzkopf against the cage but Schwarzkopf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. No luck for Vasilyev with that takedown attempt. Schwarzkopf seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Vasilyev missing with a left hand there. Schwarzkopf was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Vasilyev misses with a straight right. Adolf Schwarzkopf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Schwarzkopf slips under a jab. Schwarzkopf jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Schwarzkopf takes a swing at Vasilyev's ribcage but misses. Vasilyev looking to score a takedown here. Schwarzkopf is defending well but Vasilyev drives through and ends up in Schwarzkopf's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schwarzkopf looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Vasilyev trying to control but Schwarzkopf is working from the bottom. Schwarzkopf wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Vasilyev stands and throws Schwarzkopf's legs to the side, diving into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Vasilyev tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vasilyev is looking to take a break and control but Schwarzkopf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vasilyev is trying to get an arm triangle but Schwarzkopf is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vasilyev has hold of Schwarzkopf's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Schwarzkopf tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vasilyev cranks the arm and Schwarzkopf screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Schwarzkopf, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sergey Vasilyev! Our winner, Sergey Vasilyev, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
