The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams tries for a takedown but Cury circles away easily
and Cury counters with a slapping leg kick.

Williams darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Williams decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Williams shoots in and drives through. Cury sprawls well.

Williams shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cury manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Williams moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Williams shoots in for a double leg but Cury sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Williams sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Cury stuffs the takedown.
Cury is looking for the big counter here.
Williams looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Williams misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Cury lands a lovely overhand right.
Williams shoots in looking for a takedown but Cury manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Williams's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Cury. That's going to slow Williams down.
