Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blocheur decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Blocheur wants to control but Miller is keeping him busy.
Miller is positioning himself well to prevent Blocheur advancing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Miller is continuing to stall.
Let's hope that Miller has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Miller is pressing down on Blocheur's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Miller fails with the takedown
and Blocheur connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Miller crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Blocheur - the referee stops the clock and Miller gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Blocheur. Miller manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Nice takedown defense from Blocheur. No joy for Miller on that attempt.
Blocheur gets a double leg takedown into Miller's guard.
Blocheur throws an elbow that misses. Miller uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Blocheur's guard. Nice move by Miller!
Blocheur looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Miller passes into half guard.

Blocheur has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Miller is working away from the top position though.

Miller misses with a takedown
and Blocheur counters with a three punch combo that has Miller backing up. Miller nods at Blocheur to acknowledge the strikes.
Blocheur fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Miller on the side of the head.
Blocheur closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Blocheur knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Miller on the ground.
Miller struggling a bit here.
Miller is not content to let Blocheur control the position.
Miller is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Blocheur's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Blocheur stalling away here and it's allowed Miller to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Blocheur is posturing up here but Miller has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Blocheur tries to roll out but it's too tight and Blocheur has to tap! Slick submission there by Miller!
