Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Richard Farmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest McIntyre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Farmer has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Farmer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Forrest McIntyre!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farmer moves into the clinch.
McIntyre looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

McIntyre tightens his grip and picks Farmer up, before dumping him to the ground. Farmer manages to land in guard.
McIntyre wants to pass the guard but Farmer is keeping the position.
Farmer has control of McIntyre's left arm, preventing McIntyre from doing any damage.

Farmer manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Farmer jumps guard and drags McIntyre to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Farmer looking to hit a scissor sweep but McIntyre is one step ahead there.

Farmer has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes McIntyre off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Forrest McIntyre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McIntyre has taken the fight to the clinch.
Farmer avoiding damage as McIntyre throws knees to the body.
Farmer wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Farmer gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, McIntyre regains guard.

Farmer makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Farmer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Farmer stands up over McIntyre, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Farmer postures up in McIntyre's guard and throws a big left but McIntyre blocks it.

Farmer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Farmer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McIntyre can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Farmer controls the pace.
Farmer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Farmer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Farmer shoots in looking for a takedown. McIntyre tries to sprawl out of it but Farmer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McIntyre manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McIntyre lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Farmer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McIntyre tries to avoid it but Farmer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McIntyre to the ground. McIntyre escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Farmer goes for a double leg but McIntyre avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as McIntyre continues to drive forward.
McIntyre unleashes a big counter combination but Farmer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Farmer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Farmer takes a swing at McIntyre's ribcage but misses.
Farmer misses with a takedown attempt - McIntyre sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Farmer fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McIntyre, pushing him back against the cage.

Farmer decides to pull guard.
Farmer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Farmer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Farmer looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
McIntyre trying to control the position from guard on top but Farmer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Farmer is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. McIntyre presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Farmer pulls guard effortlessly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Farmer stands up over McIntyre, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Farmer is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Farmer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McIntyre quickly recovers to half guard.
Farmer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Farmer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but McIntyre sees it coming and defends easily.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Farmer has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McIntyre defend it? Farmer steps over the head and cranks it - McIntyre is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Farmer!
