Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Daniel Boston!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boston shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hatfield is trying to defend but Boston finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Hatfield is defending against the submission attempts here by Boston.
Boston controlling the pace.
Boston prevents Hatfield from standing back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boston decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Boston goes for a double leg but Hatfield avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hatfield continues to drive forward.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
No luck for Boston with that takedown attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hatfield.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Nicky Hatfield will probably get the nod.

Boston tries to pull guard but Hatfield holds him up against the cage and eventually Boston drops back down to his feet.

Hatfield drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boston gets the underhooks and prevents it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hatfield.
Boston jumps guard but Hatfield stands there with Boston around his waist. Boston gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Hatfield passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Hatfield tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Boston is looking to regain half guard here but Hatfield keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hatfield in the domination position with Boston hanging on.
Hatfield throws an elbow but Boston slips to the side and avoids it well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Boston gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hatfield looks to land a strike but Boston avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nicky Hatfield will probably get the nod.

Hatfield tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boston smiles and moves away.

Boston shoots in looking for a takedown. Hatfield tries to sprawl out of it but Boston keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hatfield manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hatfield attempts a counter takedown but Boston avoids it well and moves away.
The crowd cheers as Hatfield lands an impressive looking overhand right. Boston doesn't seem phased though.
Hatfield really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
