The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simeone misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sufocacao throws a big counter combination but Simeone scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Simeone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Simeone misses with a head shot. Sufocacao uses the momentum to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Simeone throws a sloppy strike and Sufocacao has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Simeone is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Sufocacao!
