PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yo Mama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grey Blanchard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blanchard has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Grey Blanchard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanchard leaves Mama with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Blanchard looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Mama darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Mama looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Blanchard with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blanchard stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Blanchard wants it to stay on the feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Mama lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Blanchard has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Blanchard and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
