Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ron Lemieux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thurgood Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemieux kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Sliwa. Jenkins is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mary Jane. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemieux feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Jenkins's calf.
Jenkins throws a right and a left that Lemieux avoids nicely.
Jenkins ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Lemieux works Jenkins's body with a nice hook.
Jenkins keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lemieux.
Jenkins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jenkins closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lemieux's guard.
Jenkins throwing strikes from guard but Lemieux blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jenkins wants to control from the top but Lemieux keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lemieux not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lemieux working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jenkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lemieux is tightening it up a little... Jenkins has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Jenkins reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Jenkins taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lemieux!
