Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aecio Neves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Tyrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Micheangelo Fripello.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neves throws a head kick but Tyrone moves out of range.

Neves fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tyrone, pushing him back against the cage.
Tyrone can't find room to land a body shot as Neves controls the action.

Neves jumps guard.
Tyrone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Neves looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tyrone is one step ahead there.

Tyrone drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Neves manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tyrone has Neves in his guard.

Tyrone has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cozad MMA Hilo. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Neves sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tyrone's guard.
Neves is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Tyrone is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Neves is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Neves shoots for a double leg takedown but Tyrone sprawls well. He's pushed Neves's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tyrone looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Neves thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tyrone's head.
Neves has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neves has managed to clinch.
Tyrone tries to break the clinch but Neves is controlling the position.

Tyrone is fighting off a takedown attempt but Neves is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Tyrone to the mat. Tyrone regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Neves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyrone swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neves's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neves seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyrone for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neves has Tyrone pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Neves pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tyrone tumbling to the mat - Neves dives into Tyrone's guard.
Neves wants to stand but Tyrone has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neves is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Neves is stinking the place up with his stalling.
