Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Timur Rubin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexey Turshatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turshatov has chosen War And Peace as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexey Turshatov!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Alexey Turshatov has been cut.
Rubin throws a quick inside leg kick.
Jab, jab by Rubin - just one landing.
Rubin thumps Turshatov with a low kick.
Rubin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Rubin throws a solid leg kick but Turshatov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rubin.
Turshatov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rubin scores with a jab to the head.
Turshatov tries for a takedown but Rubin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Turshatov shoots in looking for a takedown. Rubin tries to sprawl out of it but Turshatov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rubin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rubin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Turshatov on the side of the head.
Turshatov gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Rubin counters with a left to the body.
Timur Rubin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexey Turshatov.

Rubin cracks Turshatov with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rubin has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Turshatov to stand back up!

Turshatov is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Rubin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Turshatov, pushing him back against the cage.
Turshatov is still on wobbly legs! Can Rubin finish him?
Rubin throws a big uppercut that drops Turshatov! More strikes from Rubin and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Turshatov lies dazed against the cage as Rubin celebrates with his cornermen!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timur Rubin!
Timur Rubin seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Alexey Turshatov was interviewed post fight and said 'Bye!'.
