Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yoshi Hoshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iwill Killu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshi Hoshi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Iwill Killu! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoshi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Killu swats him away and circles back towards the center. Killu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hoshi's waist but Hoshi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Killu off to one side. Killu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hoshi tries to avoid it but Killu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hoshi to the ground. Hoshi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Hoshi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Killu tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hoshi is in Killu's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hoshi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Killu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Yoshi Hoshi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Iwill Killu. Killu moves into the clinch successfully.
Killu is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Hoshi is keeping busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Killu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Killu drives through and clinches with Hoshi against the cage.
Hoshi is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoshi has hold of one of Killu's legs. Killu is fighting the takedown attempt but Hoshi gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Killu working a defensive guard here.
Hoshi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Killu is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hoshi decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hoshi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A head kick by Hoshi misses and Killu counters by clinching up. Hoshi prevents the takedown attempt.
Killu breaks from the clinch.
Hoshi fails in his attempt to clinch. Killu with a poor takedown and Hoshi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Killu's guard. Killu looks winded! Hoshi controlling from the top position. Killu isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hoshi stacks Killu on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hoshi!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoshi slows the pace down. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoshi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Killu tries to buck Hoshi off but Hoshi is having none of it. The referee asks Hoshi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hoshi prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Killu is looking for a sweep. Hoshi stands up. Hoshi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Hoshi dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hoshi throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hoshi leaves Killu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hoshi is looking for a counter combo. Hoshi darts in and clinches Killu up against the cage. Killu misses with a punch on the inside.
Killu works on Hoshi's body with a couple of short punches. Knees to the body from Killu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoshi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Killu walks away with a smile on his face. Hoshi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Hoshi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Killu on his heels. He'll look to pass Killu's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hoshi slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killu is trying to control the position but Hoshi postures up. Hoshi looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hoshi has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hoshi shoots in and gets a takedown into Killu's guard. Hoshi won't allow Killu to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoshi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hoshi controlling from the top position. Killu throws his legs up looking for a submission but Hoshi uses it to pass to side control.
Killu is breathing heavily. Killu can't do much from the bottom here. The referee asks Hoshi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hoshi prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Killu is trying to buck Hoshi off. Hoshi passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Killu! Hoshi controlling his opponent. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yoshi Hoshi dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Hoshi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hoshi showed some decent athleticism there. Hoshi takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Yoshi Hoshi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Killu wants to get back to full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hoshi is looking for a kimura but Killu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hoshi to get the leverage. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hoshi in particular looking to stall.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killu wants to get back to full guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Killu pushes Hoshi off looking to stand but Hoshi dives back in and keeps control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Killu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hoshi avoids it really well and circles away. Killu takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hoshi closes the distance and pushes Killu back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hoshi has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Killu after a bit of a struggle. Killu keeps control of Hoshi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Killu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Killu shoots in for a takedown but Hoshi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Killu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Killu moves into the clinch successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hoshi content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Killu looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Hoshi seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Iwill Killu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Yoshi Hoshi is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Killu fails with a takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Yoshi Hoshi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hoshi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
