Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Florentino Olsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, tj Muah!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muah throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Olsen was covering up waiting for the punch and Muah finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Muah gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
tj Muah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Olsen gets caught flat footed, as Muah shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Muah stopping the sweep attempt from Olsen.
Muah throwing strikes but missing.
Muah not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Olsen really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Olsen will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Muah is fighting to break Olsen's control of his arms but Olsen is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Muah.
Olsen is trying to control Muah's posture but Muah avoids it.

Muah stands up and beckons Olsen to his feet.
Olsen tries to land a body kick
and Muah moves into the clinch.
Olsen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Muah walks away with a smile on his face. Olsen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Muah trying to control the position from guard on top but Olsen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Olsen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Muah with a flurry of punches that miss.
Muah throws a big right hand that misses.
Muah pushing down on Olsen's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Muah misses with a head shot. Olsen uses the momentum to regain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Muah slips nicely into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Florentino Olsen's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Olsen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Muah darts in and clinches Olsen up against the cage.
Muah turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Muah decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Muah feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Muah works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Muah uses his free foot to push down on Olsen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Olsen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Muah has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Muah controlling his opponent.
Muah throws some wild stikes that Olsen manages to avoid easily.
Olsen avoids a series of strikes thrown by Muah.
Olsen tries to lock up and control but Muah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Muah thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Muah has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Olsen tries to hold on but Muah pushes him away.
Muah goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Olsen turns into him and now he's in Muah's guard.
Muah seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Olsen has gone for a leg lock! Muah slips out almost immediately though and dives into Olsen's guard.
tj Muah has got the better of the ground game so far.

Muah stands and steps away. Olsen gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Olsen tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Muah closes the distance but Olsen moves to the side
and Olsen counters with an outside leg kick.

Muah fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Olsen sprawls well initially but Muah persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Muah is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Olsen is trying to maintain the position but Muah is very close to passing his half guard.
Olsen moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Muah's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Muah stands up from guard. Let's bang!

tj Muah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Muah has Olsen up against the cage in a clinch.
Muah works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Muah stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Olsen tries to pull guard but Muah holds him up against the cage and eventually Olsen drops back down to his feet.

Olsen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Muah has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Olsen uses from the top position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Muah is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Olsen doesn't manage to clinch there - Muah circles away.
Muah tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Florentino Olsen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Muah misses with a jab, cross combination.
Olsen jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Olsen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Olsen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Florentino Olsen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Muah lands a takedown into guard.

Muah is continuing to stall.

Olsen keeping moving, preventing Muah from controlling successfully.

Olsen seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Muah wants to control from the top but Olsen keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Muah looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Olsen!
Olsen avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Muah.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Muah stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Muah manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Olsen on his heels. He'll look to pass Olsen's guard now, I'm sure.
Florentino Olsen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
tj Muah is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

tj Muah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Muah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
